Average hotel, within the small village area of Feldberg-Altglashütten, only a short drive from Lake Titisee and Schluchsee, where there are a good choice of restaurants and cafes. Ideally situated for outdoor activities such as walking and cycling.

Good, clean and well maintained exterior with off road car parking. The interior is slightly dated (wood chip on the walls), and shows some signs of usage, but was perfectly adequate.

We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, which was still a very decent size, and came with TV, radio, and ensuite bathroom. The room had good views, and with the window open you could hear the sound of cow bells. This is not the place to stay if you like a soft bed, the beds seemed fairly new and were very, very firm. There are some newer, larger rooms in the hotel (as per website), which are at a slightly higher price.

The owners were very helpful, and breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice of cereals, breads, meat, cheeses... more
