We arrived in Schlushsee Seebrug by train. The depot was a very short walk to the hotel as promised. Initial approach was pleasant. Hotel surrounded by the black forest and a background of the Schlushsee, which makes Titissee look like a puddle.

We were greeted by Hinrek, who immeadiately dismissed what he was doing, greeted us and grabbed our bags. We were escorted up one flight of stairs to one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever occupied. Tall windows, bathed with luxurious drapes and ornamentation. Upon openning them two sets of french doors led out to separate balconies. the view of the lake was spectacular. Hinrek insructed us to let him know as soon as we wanted to use the wellness center downstairs. He immeadiately set out to prepare the spa.
