As already mentioned ... it is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the rooms are really tastefully furnished and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect with being in the middle of Wernigerode. If I will get back to Wernigerode I'll definitely stay there again. more

Spent 3 nights there on 3 for 2 half board basis via active hotels.com. Very good value. Public areas are very well designed, spacious with a good mixture of modern and traditional features. The hotel has 3 dining areas, one "posh" restaurant, medium one :) and a lovley wine cellar where very good wine selection is available plus I believe... more

This is an amazing wonderful hotel right in the heart of Wernigerode. Comfortable amazing food and friendly staff. What more could anyone want. Not over expensive either. In UK this would cost double! How do they do it? more

Stayed for 3 nights in mid February, paid around 90 Euros a night via HRS. Its a class act. Superb old building, great rooms and everything "just so". Good buffet breakfast, plenty of room to accommodate everyone and a wide selection of hot and cold items. Really good coffee.
