Wernigerode is a lovely little town situated along the Harz mountains in central Germany. Its like a small fairy tale place with and old castle and houses from the 16th century.
This hotel is an excellent choise when travelling here.
The hotel is located halfway between the centre of the town and the railway station giving good access to both with only a few minutes walk.
It gives excellent value for the money. The rooms were all new and quite large. The whole place is very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast buffet was probably the best we experienced on our two weeks in Germany. There is so much to choose from and everything is very fresh.
This is truely a hidden gem in Germany / Europe.
