The hotel is in Oberkirch which is not an attractive town, but functional. From the outside the Hotel is a pleasnt modern building, but on the inside is little more than an eating house with bedrooms. The bedroom we had was not the one you see pictured on the web site, very, very small and only just enough room to swing a dead cat, if you wanted to. We went half board, the evening meal was of the poorest German fayre that they could serve up, not even a choice of menu, you either like parts of a pig with sauerkraut or you don't. The Hotel owner was friendly enough, but not so the rest of the staff as I think they thought we interupted the flow of coach parties {German} that formed the basis of their custom. If you do stay here, eat elsewhere or al a carte. more
