Great location in the Black Forest. Gorgeous lake views. Make sure to get a lake front room. Such rooms are more expensive. But it is the only way I'd stay in this hotel. Outstanding top-quality breakfast buffet that will fill the appetite of a teenager. Dated but comfortable rooms. Average quality service. more
The hotel is in a fantastic position on the shore of the lake with great views and right at the end of the main tourist street. We greatly enjoyed the short break we had at the Maritim. Staff were always friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We payed extra to have a lake view - well worth the expense as the balcony was generous and the view fabulous. As for the food - the breakfasts were as good as any we have... more
This was a nice hotel. It is set just on the lake with a good few of the rooms with a lake view. The hard part is driving to this hotel so be warned, it isnt easy! Dont follow google maps idea or you end up down a country park road that Im not sure you are allowed to drive... more
the maritim titisee is a superb place to live. we were 3 families with young children. it has an indoor heated swimming pool. it is on the lake shores so you can sit in the room balcony and enjoy the mind blowing views. if you visit black forest this place is a must stay. i would definitely go back to... more
My husband and I stayed in the Maritim Titisee hotel for two nights August 12-13, 2006. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean. Pro: - Breakfast buffet is great - friendly stuff - nice location Con: - Breakfast room is not complete smoke free - have to pay for parking (6 Euro per day) - rooms and hotel looks a bit old. Over all: probably would stay next time in an other Hotel more
