I stayed at this hotel for a business meeting. It is really hard to find specific faults. Staff are efficient and charming (e.g. I lost my phone adapter, and the hotel manager lent me his), the rooms are spacious, the facilities are really impressive, location beautiful, food good etc etc. But still I couldn't warm to the place. The hotel is located in a piсturesque "painters' " corner of the town Rottach Egern directly on the bank of the lake Tegernsee. The view from our balcony to the lake and mountains was superb, the room itself was spacious. The buffet breakfast on the terraсe was ample. The reception stuff was helpful. Beautiful hotel, beautiful location. Spotless. Expensive ! Great service. Excellent conference facilities. Fantastic pool area. Passenger boat stops right outside hotel for easy access to rest of lake. Highly recommended. more
