We went to see Savoy Brown Blues Band perform at the Rex Music Theatre in Lorsch near Bensheim. Chose the Bacchus Hotel through reviews on trip advisor, and because it is on main rail line between Frankfurt and Heidelberg. THE BAND WERE GREAT! Once again this year we stayed with Klaus. Hotel Bacchus is like an oasis for us. The hotel gets better and better. Bensheim is very convenient to Frankfurt. A nice stop after a long flight. Lots of good restaurants and friendly folk. The Hotel food is great. A great Sunday market day in Bensheim. A close drive to Heidelburg. more

Our last stay at the Bacchus was in 2004, but our next stay will be this (2007) year and it will be about the 8th or 9th stay for us. Herr Bulling has always gone out of his way to make our stay enjoyable & we wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else for our first and last nights in Germany! more
