Stayed there for three nights with my wife.

Booked via the hotel website but when we got there they had no record of the booking... but had rooms available. Hotel is pricey, we thought, but quite good value. The room was very nice, and though it overlooked a street, it was quiet. A couple of things let it down - dinner at the hotel restaurant wasn't up to much, and the only soap/shampoo in the bathroom was the cheapo squeezy stuff.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were nice, location of the hotel was lovely and the town's dead nice too. We recommend you go to Luneburg Heath (check the tourist office in town for details) and also the salt water baths in town.

Overall, a great start to the holiday.
