This hotel seems to me the only one in the city but I can assure that's too the best in maritime chain (until now) well after a full active skiing day and I was not sure that I will stay or not, I went to the reception to asked them about the availability, they welcomed me and offer for me... More

The Hotel might have been a "state of the art" Hotel in former times, in the 70s maybe. first the cons: The price for internet access is with close to 10 € per hrs totally outdated, the bathroom design is totally outfashioned, the complete design of the entire hotel is outdated and approx 79 €s when taking booking.com rates is... We really like that this hotel had a swimming pool and a nice sauna. However, both the architecture and the furnishment are rather oudtantes (seventies), but the hotel is very clean. Very suitable if you really want to relax. Easy accessible by public transport (bus). Nice location with good views, wifi has only limited availability and you have to pay... More

Stayed 2 midweek nights in January 2012. Weather wasn't great so we spent quite a lot of time in the hotel itself. Its a large hotel with a wide range of services, but feeling a little dated due partially to the functional architecture, but also decor e.g. wallpaper in rooms, strong patterned tiles in bathroom. Otherwise room was great, clean... More

This fantastic hotel with wonderful views over Braunlage and the Harz forrest really did the 3 days we stayed here tao a magic visit. The service was excellent and... More

Searching for an hotel nearby Nordhausen, we came up the hotel more or less by accident. Good for us. The very German small town is great for a little promenade, while in a 3 minutes walk of the hotel you find several sports facilities. For mountainbikers there is transport to the top of the mountain via a teleferic. We used... More

An architect's horror story nestling in the hills a little above Braunlage, the Maritim can be glimpsed from almost anywhere in the quiet little ski/tourist town. However its vantage point offers you a vast and pleasant panoramic view reaching across the town to the hills beyond, but only should you have been so lucky as to obtain a room on... More

We decided to head to Braunlage for a snow and ski weekend and picked the Maritim hotel for its pool, proximity to the lifts and the review we have read about it. Our room was a standard room, our 5 year old stayed for free and the large and delicious breakfast buffet was included. We had to pay 11 Euros... More

This is our second stay here and as before we think the hotel is good and very well priced. Rooms are large and well furnished with great views over the village/ mountain, location is excellent near the cable car. Friendly staff and great (but pricey) breakfasts, good facilities and nice pool. Some of the bathrooms are very 1970s but not... More

We stayed in this hotel durend the Continental Cup at the last weekend in January 06. The whole village was very busy - so was the hotel. Location is ideal for wintersports, just a couple of minutes walking distance to the cable car (brings you up the hill) - the view from our room 918 was outstanding. Poolarea is spacious... More
