The hotel is nicely located as the center piece of the Kurgarten Park, a few steps from downtown, the giant wine barrel restaurant, and the interesting Saline structure at Bad Duerkheim. Reception at the hotel is professional yet impersonal, no warmth or accommodating feel here. The hallways and rooms seemed to have gone through recent renovation however they remain bland... More

Ok sums it up really...pretty town, lovely park...pool room enjoyable..but overall nothing much to draw comment. Enjoyed the spa pool room, nice and warm, very clean and a good way to relax away an hour or two on a raw winter day.

We have stayed at the Kurpark Hotel on 3 separate occasions with the most recent being in July of 2012. It was a great surprise to us when we arrived on our most recent visit that the original mineral springs swimming pool was no more, replaced by a much smaller pool. The whirlpool has also been eliminated. The overall quality... More

Nothing really special about the hotel. Relatively big hoel in a small town. Old fashioned reception, restaurant and personnel. Rooms ok, but nothing special.

We came for the wine fest and planed to stay two days but we ran away. The beds where terrible, my wifes matrees was broken, and under mine they put a piece of plank that was shorter then the matrees and make me roll to the side and try to fight my way back the whole night. THe next day... More

We didn't spend too much time in our rooms- we essentially used the hotel only for getting ready for the day, and sleeping at night. For these purposes, it served us well. We had two double rooms and a single, and all were surprisingly roomy (by European standards). The bathrooms were relatively large, with hair dryers and plenty of towels,... More

I am now looking for another hotel for my annual visit to the Pfalz. We recently stayed here for 2 nights and after being given the key to room 416 we hear the tremendous noises coming from 417( next to 416) and 418 (next but one) which were being gutted for refurbishment. So much for having a quiet drink on the balcony... Seeing the website of the hotel, we got the impression that we would find a stylish, romantic hotel. But when we arrived at the Kurparkhotel, we saw that it was connected with the casino and that there were a lot of tourist busses parked outside. The rooms are very business like with very uncosy TL lighting. This hotel is more... More

A big hotel, which means the walk from the main entrance/reception/breakfast to your room can be very long and some doors have to be opened to get there. The interior seems to be from the 70s and needs an update, especially the coference and meeting rooms. Our room was nice and large, with a view to the biggest wine barrel... More
