We stayed for 2 nights here to visit the lovrely town of Bernkastel and the main reason was the christmas market. the owners father collected us at hahn airport for 25€ which was excellent as other people we met payed 42€ for a taxi.
the hotel is situated just by the bridge and is only a few steps from the market square. its very homely at the entrance and the room was fabulousit over looked the river and the neighbouring town of kues. wwe had a family room of 2 singles pushed together and 2 camp beds the only complaint was the matresses were a bit too thin in the camp beds so you could feel the wooden lats and my daughter is very light so maybe a thicker mattress. food was great , a help your self brekkie and they also offered us scrambled egg if we wished..
bathroom fab and extremely clean as was all of the property as its only a tear old.. loved it here and bernkastel was like a fairytale for both the kids and myself.. will be back next yr. more
