If you are looking for a hotel with chandeliers, restaurants, bars and lounges the Haus Weiskopf is not for you.

But if you want a spotlessly clean, comfortable modern bed & breakfast hotel as a base for visiting the Mosel valley, I unhesitatingly recommend Haus Weiskopf, situated just above the centre of Bernkastel.

Excellent value single room at Euro 39 included a good buffet breakfast. Also in breakfast room is a small self-service honesty bar

The hotel has a small car park, but it's much easier to use the nearby public one next to river. It's best to drive inside the car park 400 meters upstream to the left, where parking becomes free of charge. Nearer to the entrance you have to pay.
