We spent 4 days in June at a lovely efficiency apartment (number 4) overlooking the Mosel River. The owner has 6 rooms and apartments above her gift shop, which is on the main street (Moselstrasse) next to the lovely Mosel river. The guest entrance is from the back of the building, off a lovely narrow cobblestone street with many shops, bakeries and cafes. All 4 apartments face directly onto the river. The rooms do not face the river, I think. Despite facing the main street, our room was very quiet except we did hear people in the neighboring room once on the weekend. Ours was on the 3d floor with two sets of double doors that opened onto the river. THere was an arched railing outside each doorway, but not a real balcony, so we just moved our breakfast table in front of the doors for a lovely view while eating in the sunshine. The apartment was clean, with kitchenette with 1/2 size frig, 2 burner stove, cooking utensils, coffee maker. THe large open room had a big queen bed, table... more
