Just spent the weekend 8-9 Sep 06 at Hotel Seegarten. Preferred staying at the Hotel Bayerischerhof because they do not allow animals in the hotel. Stayed at Seegarten because I got a cheaper rate. This hotel on the seepromenade is very nice, but we found it overpriced for the musty, somewhat run down shape it was in. Mind you, we were there in April (2004) before the tourist season hit in earnest. But we felt that the 150Euro rate we paid, even though the room was nice, was over the top for the facility.... more

A wonderful time for only a week a few years ago, Staff exceptionally understanding and helpful. Hotel was clean and very well appointed. We really do wish we could have stayed longer. Will be coming back again this year for only one day into the town. But have every intention of revisiting soon. more
