Location is right in the main street which means non stop noise from rowdy revellers through the night. The town is really noisy at night. The rooms are small and the ceiling very low. Its 2 star rating is not an adequate appraisal. This hotel is very small in a small town . It obviously can’t provide the amenities of the Conaught or Four Seasons. This hotel was charming, lovely and the location is perfect. We had a room overlooking the main street of Gruyeres and the view is just lovely from the breakfast room. The service was very good and friendly and we would definitely stay there again. more
