Probably the most spectacular view from a hotel that I've ever been in, amply enjoyed from the private balcony in the junior suite I got upgraded to (conference stay ... helps to be a speaker, I guess). We had no time to cancel the hotel but were so discouraged by our experience in the hotel bristol in Leukerbad that we wanted to just go home!! Fantastic view, great facilities, good food, well trained staff (just missing the smile!), quality products, relaxing atmosphere but ... it is clear that the exclusive treatment is the exclusivity of suite guests or frequent visitors. Others get simply "parked" in what is left ... So, dear managers: you probably need to review your customer retention tactics (unless you have none!).... more
