Like all hotels in Switzerland, this hotel is expensive, but in return for your money, you are generally rewarded with high quality. This is certainly the case at the Walther. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by the staff and Mrs Walther. Before we knew it, our car had been parked and all our luggage taken up to our room.... more
This family owned Relais & Chateaux hotel celebrates its 100th year this year...they have just cause to celebrate....it is absolutely first class. Attentive, professional,warm staff, in every area. Great location close to excellent local transport services to the mountains. A hundred yards from the main Pontresina centre. my wife and I had a wonderful time in this sweet swiss retreat. A quiet old castle with a very French cuisine style. We simply loved the food!!!!! Great breakfast too. Friendly but highly professional staff. more
