Three times we have stayed at the Alfa Soleil ,in the rooms at the front of the hotel,each with balcony, looking out over the superb view of meadows, waterfalls and majestic mountains. Just stumbled across this site and read the reviews with interest. Especially the first, was there myself just a few weeks prior. The hotel is about the first located right on the main road into Kandersteg and was much busier and noisier than I expected.
