I stayed at Hotel Erika for a week in March 2004 and again in Feb 2006. The rooms were clean, balcony views fab, plenty of hot water, comfy beds in spacious rooms, freindly owners, ski store etc etc. It's not luxurious by any stretch but offers great value for money and it's just so nice there. We have stayed at the Erika Hotel...2 times...The views are "Breathtaking"...of the meadows, mountains, clouds....and cows in the pastures...just outside your rooms...even the smells can be rather refreshing if not very farmish... We will return again in Oct 2004....trying to decide where to stay...thought maybe it might be nice to try another hotel....but now wondering if the views can possibly... more
The Hotel Erika sits at the begining of the village of Kandersteg. It is a clean very well run Pension Hotel, with breathtaking views from all the hotel guestrooms.
