We stayed for a long weekend at the Collinetta and were very pleased. The rooms are clean and spacious, ours was partly renovarted which was fine. Excellent hotel location, staff, and service. Fantastic garden, grounds and view of the lake. The walk to wonderful Ascona is 20 minutes and the views are breathtaking. Shame about the rain...!But there is not much to do with the hotel!

“Slow start but nice finish”

The Hotel is quite small and somewhat outside of Ascona. We stayed for 4 nights and booked 2 rooms. when we got there the staff was not very friendly and they only had 1 room booked - so not a great start. We managed to squeeze into 1 room and went off to enjoy the region. the following days things... More

“perfect for families”

We spent a weekend at the Collinetta with our two toddlers. The family-room under the roof has no view, but is large and well insulated. Our boy loved the bed in the shape of a race car! The hotel provides chairs for children, has a special menu for kids and a corner with toys. We felt very welcome!

Spent a few days in one of there apartments. All the staff where friendly & helpful. As we were leaving before breakfast they arrange coffee & breakfast for us. They are currently extended there dining areas which looked very nice.

It is a beautiful property with a fantastic lake vista. We booked late and got their last room, unfortunately not one on the lake side. The room was small and basic, but generally clean.
