I give it three stars because the location and the staff were great. For the rest, the whole place has remained stuck in 1970. Even the hotel logo is so anachronic it is funny! I went to this hotel as a conference manager running a 3 day event there. We chose it because one of the delegates who was swiss recommended it. Overall the hotel is very pleasant and well run. For a rate of 264 CHF per room (B&B) we did not expect to end up in room that was so incredibily sad (actually one of the saddest rooms I had in my life and I've stayed in many...). This hotel is in a great location in the Diablerets village. The ski runs, fun park, childrens ski lessons, and 7 km sled run are right across the street, as is the lovely ice skating rink and outdoor swimming pool (summer only!). Clean, functional and friendly hotel would have no hesitation in recomending. Have travelled and stayed in lots of great hotels and whilst not a top of the range Marriott... this is still one of our favorites and we will be going back more
