An oasis on the river, away from the busy town and traffic. Mary and George could have not been better hosts. Our room was lovely and spacious painted in soothing seafoam green with a view of the river from a wall of windows. Everything was spotless and gracious. The dining room and common areas are covered with fabulous, but slightly different art work that Mary describes as a better investment for her pension. Pubs and restaurants are an easy walk from the house. Not your typical tourist stop, but well worth it and less than an hour from Kilkenny and an hour and a half from Dublin.
