It's not a hotel, it's a part motel masquerading as a top shelf Hotel. It was a hotel in my youth as the Plympton Hotel, but that has long gone. The reception staff seemed to be very dim witted to me and were as useful as pockets on a singlet. The room was alright, but the total glass patio syle... More

We booked 2 nights @ this hotel which later turned out to be the blues and roots festival weekend. The manager Raj lacks any customer service skills & was like a wet mop on check in. Secure parking is not one per room as booking form would have believe, its 1st in best dressed. My 3 year old found someone... More

We recently stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment as a family group of 4 adults, and found the facilities comfortable and well appointed for our needs. The bedrooms were finished well with excellent air conditioning and comfortable beds. The bathroom was well sized, but caused trouble for my disabled father, as the shower was over the bath... More

Stayed for work, three nights. The cost was 275 per night and that didn't even include breakfast. The room was ok but more motel than hotel. I just don't see how they can justify the price. Had diner at the restaurant and found it pleasant, nice view and food good. Location is not close to much other than the river.... More

Price led me to expect big things. No cigar! Tired bath room and highway motel standard room. Felt ripped with $300+ tariff. Facilities seemed ok but not what I was there for. Location/room/bathroom doesn't justify the price.

Room price was too expensive for quality of room. Rooms need updating. Bar and restaurant were very good, especially the bar area with its modern indoor/outdoor decor and furnishings. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I found the Trade Winds to be a beautiful old hotel with up to date furniture. The beds were comfortable the location is right opposite the water and walking distance to the heart of Fremantle shopping/resturants. The Hotel breakfast was fresh and inviting and you were able to take in the view of the water whilst you enjoyed your food.... More

I did book the accommodation from the website and having no knowledge of the layout of Fremantle. We stayed at Tradewinds as a special treat. We had been there in our courting days almost 20 years before and had very fond memories.
