Kate was extremely welcoming. Excellent breakfast - particularly enjoyed the fresh eggs! The lounge has a huge open fire, the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing glass or two at the end of the day. The room was basic but clean and the location perfect for River Cottage, which was the reason for our visit. Would definitely stay again. More

Lovely comfortable accommodation in excellent location. Three children (10, 8 & 6) disappeared into the secret cubbyhole where all the toys are kept and we relaxed in front of the fire with a cup of tea. Perfect base for exploring Lyme Regis, Axminster, Beer and Seaton. We ate handsomely at local pubs - best was Harbour Inn in Axmouth. Will... More

Can't remember how many times we have stayed now, perfect hideaway for a few nights in the country, or for fossil hunting. our dog is made most welcome and has much fun and games with Bob, Fern and Maisie, Kate's dogs. The best cooked breakfast ever too. Having the guest sitting room with the lovely inglenook fireplace makes it ideal... More

Visited a week before Christmas 2011 - bitterly cold and freezing wind. Warm welcoming cup of tea in the cosy, log-fired living room. An excellent full breakfast and coped with gluten free as well. We left a few bits behind us and Kate kindly posted them on. Rooms warm and well fitted out. Kate would have dog-sat for us as... More

We stayed overnight after a family fossil hunting trip on Lyme Regis beach. Two grandparents, two parents and two little girls, aged five and seven. Kate welcomed us when we arrived, and we enjoyed tea, squash and cakes sitting beside a log fire. The children spent the next hour or so playing Scrabble as we relaxed beside the fire, then... More

A warm and friendly welcome was waiting for us when we arrived at the farm house. Not only from Kate but also the dogs. This is a lovely B and B and a real authentic farm house. Breakfast was terrific and room excellent. More

Very homely and Kate was an excellent host. Everything was very clean and their was lots of toys for our children to play with. Lots of parking space for our van & trailer! Kate was very flexible with breakfast doing 3 completely different meals for us. It was just a pity we could only stay one night! More
