Such friendly hosts, really comfy rooms - home from home is a good description. Breakfast was incredibly good. I couldnt resist taking some of the homemade sausages and home cured bacon home as it was so delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Keith and Bridget, including a lift to get my car from River Cottage the morning after the... More

We booked this B&B for a visit to River Cottage on Saturday night. Bridget and Keith gave us such a very warm welcome that we immediately felt like we had known them for ages! We had the King Size room which was very spacious and well equipped. Keith suggested that we might like to take a drink and sit by... More

Bridget & Keith always offer a warm welcome and make my stay comfortable, this was stay 4 or 5 as I have a nearby friend. I have stayed with a group that has taken every room including the cottage and on my own and each stay has been just as lovely. The full English breakfast is great, the home-made jam... More

We were fortunate enough to book this B&B for our recent visit to an evening at River Cottage. It was like going to stay with friends. A warm welcome, spacious well appointed room, freshly cooked breakfast, lots of chat - nothing was too much trouble. We will be back! B&V Harrow

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the owners Keith and Bridget, and their dog, Merryck. Merryck was very friendly and showed us around the farm and the lake (make sure you find a supply of stones to throw in for him or else he barks :) . The room (kingsize above the tea room) was large and clean and... More

My husband and I stayed at Spillars Farm B & B for 3 nights during Easter 2013, and it is fair to say that the quiet was wonderful, the room was immaculately dressed and we slept like logs. Spillars Farm is hosted by a very warm, relaxed couple (Keith & Bridget) who are happy to let you walk round the... More

My partner & i were booked into 'spillers' for my 30th birthday treat. We stayed for 2nights (fri & sat) in the superior room as we intended to take our 17m old daughter originally & this room is the one to go for if you have a little one (plenty of room for a travel cot etc). As it happened,... More

Coming from the city this farm B&B was very refreshing; your free to wander round, say hello to the piglets and enjoy the 'milk olympics' with the lambs. Keith & Bridgit make you feel very welcome. Their advice is spot on. Breakfast fills you up for the day. Considering I was seriously jetlagged, I slept for 10 hours the 2nd... More

My friend and I have just returned from Spillers Farm. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes from Keith and Bridget (and Merryk!) During our stay they offered us restaurant recommendations, places of interest to visit and very clear directions for River Cottage HQ (we were the only ones not to get lost!) Our... More
