Terrible stay, very expensive, cold welcome, cold food! Can't believe this place has so many good reviews.. There are a lot better places to stay. Checked out after two nights. Loads of children running around.

Was recommended The Langton Arms by family who had eaten Sunday lunch there. Decided to go over Bank Holiday for a lunch. Really enjoyable and delicious food. Great extensive menu and fantastic choice for the children. Found this great value for money (apart from the fact I was being treated), but genuinely great tasty food and well worth every penny.

We are on a gastronomic tour of the south of England. We ate at Hestons Hinds Head in Bray two nights ago but, frankly had a better meal here tonight. Beautiful location in the Tarrant valley, walking from the door, great pub, excellent food, dog (and people!) friendly to boot. The restaurant was a particular surprise - didn't realise it was the best gastropub in dorset.
