We had a lovely time as a family of 5 here over the may bank holiday. Lots to explore in nevern, old castle and church. Rooms were a bit dated, but good value and plenty of room for all the family. Breakfast was very good and dinner in the pub was also enjoyable.

Staff very friendly - on phone, serving behind bar and serving breakfast. We had a spacious room with three beds in it. Beds comfortable. The pub was warm throughout which was great. Very quiet at night. Breakfast was varied and plenty of it. Great location - short walk to the hamlet of Nevern with its lovely old church, the bleeding... More

We stayed at the Trewern Arms for a wedding. The hotel was very nice, staff and management very accommodating. The rooms are bright and spacious. Food was very nice, breakfast was good, service a little slow but no need to complain. Network coverage was very poor (no fault of the hotel) so the free WIFI is very handly! I would... More

Stopped for lunch which was prepared in a small area just of the bar area containing microwaves and deep fat fryers. The bar menu states the food is home cooked so I am assuming it is all prepered frozen and then reheated as there was a lot of 'pinging' coming from the microwaves just before the food was served. We... More

Four of us went here for a midweek lunch on a miserable January day a couple of weeks after Xmas to cheer ourselves up and we are so glad we did! A nice welcome, four pints of very well kept Doom Bar and excellent home-cooked food. We had boeuf borgininon, steak and kidney pie and chicken curry twice and all... More

We were booked into the hotel as part of a surprise weekend treat by our daughter and her boyfriend, who, in her turn, received great service. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, regretting the fact that we had already eaten when we saw the bar meals (Although my husband did find space for a bread and butter... More

We had Sunday lunch here which was served from a carvery. The food was good with generous portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The bar area is great and has a lovely old fashioned feel to it with a lovely open fire and a separate pool/ dart room with a great juke box. There are some great... More

A quiet and very picturesque location with walks along the river where we saw one of the Otters that frequent the waters. The staff were as ever very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent.
