Tuvununu lodge is an amazing place too stay . It is only about 5 minute taxi ride from the airport and within walking distance from some local shops and local Fijian villages . Actually, it was not what I was looking for. It is a hostel in the middle of the jungle, no hot water, electric power limited (the generator was switched on from 7:00PM until 12:00AM). It's very hot (without electric power, there is no point to have a fan). Old mattresses, sheets dirty. ...and I don't look for luxury, usualy travel... More

Lovely people, good clean rooms, a relaxed atmosphere. The staff really looked after me, cooked great food, entertained us with kava sessions and singing. If you wanna come close to the fijian people and culture than go there and enjoy as much as possible. It is a great place with lovely people. Very good time here. The people were extremely friendly and the place was beautiful. Only bad part was not being able to swim right out in front of the place due to it being a conservation area. highly recommend this place.
