The hotel is good value, basic but comfortable and quiet, and convenient for the A26/A4. The attached Courtpaille restaurant does a good steak, and you can get coffee and snacks from reception 24/7. It's a perfect stopping place between Calais and the alps.

the old Ibis Tinqueux is now getting a bit tired and our room stank of fags. The location is still an ideal stop over on the journey from the south but the newer Tip Top Hotel adjacent may be a better bet for the money.

We arrived in a party of 14 on the start of a motoring tour. Good car park. Restaurant were not phased when asked for a teble for 14. I forgot to book a twin room but the receptionist was very helpful and made suitable changes. This is my second visit and both times service was great.

Basically, we used the Ibis as a "pit stop". It was ideal and we were delighted with St Omer as a town. We had supper in a small bistro/cafe in the attractive main square, food was good and the service excellent. Breakfast was acceptable but we were fairly keen to keep it quick as we had arranged lunch in Paris.

Good location just off the throught town autoroute. Bed a little hard; The attached Court Paille restaurant was excellent value and very good service; The room and bathroom were very clean; al in all good value for money and thoroughly recommended for a short stay. Only real criticism is that we could find no elevator.
