Having found the Logis de France hotel full I searched and came across La Residence - what a stroke of luck! A lovely hotel in a lovely old building right in the heart of Souillac.

We were greated by a lovely French Lady - who we assumed to be the owner - who couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable you could ask for nothing more. There is no lift so I wouldn't recommend this for people who have a problem with stairs.

BUT there was more - this hotel has it's own indoor swimming pool!

Breakfast could be taken in the dining room or in your room, which was no trouble at all. There is a free car park very close by and you can walk to everywhere you could wish to in Souillac.

Fantastic value for money, would visit again given the opportunity! more
