We stumbled across Chalet Philibert and loved it to bits. The week we spent there with two son's was great. The service is very good, food is delicous for adults and the beds were comfortable. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, even laying out a late dinner when we arrived four hours later than planned. more

Having spent many years holidaying in Morzine, discovering the beautiful Chalet Philibert just a few minutes walk up the hill from the centre of town was a real pleasure. The Chalet Philibert is on the hillside above Morzine and on the road up to the resort of Avoriaz. A five minute drive gets you to the ski lifts in Morzine and a five minute drive the other way to the Telepherique up to Avoriaz. If you stay in Morzine, Go and check Chalet Philibert. We have tried a few other hotels in Morzine but this one is the place ! Expected a luxury experience, some friends recommended this place as they stayed there some 3 years ago, well it must have changed!! No welcome, no help, small cramped smelly rooms, damp carpets, no atmosphere, noisy road, food bland to average, lumpy pillows, plastic sheets, very, very disappointed !! The Chalet Philibert is located just outside the city center of Morzine. There is a convenient shortcut that makes the walk into town approx. 5 minutes. There is also bus service from morning until early evening that will haul you and your skis to the gondolas. Rooms are small but quaint, very clean. Ours had the two twin beds pushed... more
