I booked this as I was attending a course nearby but was concerned by some of the other reviews,However I really couldn't fault it.Not sure what people's expectations are,but a warm ,quiet ,clean room with TV and modern ensuite is more than "basic" surely?I didn't eat here as food was provided on my course,The staff were uniformly polite and pleasant.

We have now had two weddings at the belfry. Both times were a good experience. Yes, the manager can be hard to pin down at times but persevere and you will be rewarded with an excellent reception. In our experience it exceeded our expectations and was extremely good value for money .

I have stayed at the Belfry numerous times. The rooms at the back of the hotel are clean, near the car park and reasonably sized. Some of the rooms inside the hotel feel a little cramped.
