This was a very gloomy place. Staff unfriendly, and dirty scruffy reception, so not a good first impression. We were here for one night only in our camper van, one night too long. The washing machine managed to chew up some of my underwear which was then fit for the dustbin only ! Facilities very tired and not very clean,... More

This park is small and basic, please don't be expecting the facilities of your Top 10 parks. The site is green with trees and there are some nice walks with Lord of the Rings sites nearby. The manager was very helpful with finding a suitable powered site for our large motorhome and also with recommending a local pub where we... More

We stayed at this campsite just for one night in a tent. Showers and toilets were basic , but clean. The kitchen so so..and not very big. There are too many stonesin the ground and can be a problem when put a tent. we were woken up very early because of the strong nose of from the clser farm. The... More

Drove from Auckland and arrived at 9.30. Manager complained at being woken...quoted us $130 for the night for a family cabin then when we went to pay changed it to $150. She said this was because we woke her up. No tea or coffee in the cabin, no milk provided and the closest shop in Wellington. Cabin was dirty and... More

I would just like to say, that i have had a recent stay, and found it very relaxing and enjoyable. Its a lovely park with lots of room and lovely surrounds. The tourist cabin was nice and clean and big enough for 3 of us.Remembering that we are only paying $110 a night so it was good accommodation for that price. It is... We stayed here recently for two nights - the room was lovely and warm and although a little cramped was still ideal for our purpose. The shower was really nice & we would stay here again in the future without hesitation

In the Wellington bedroom community of Upper Hutt there is a great place to stay, a hidden gem….the Harcourt Holiday Park. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the layout of the buildings uncrowded the park uncluttered and all of it off the road far enough to be away from all highway noise. They have motel units, tourist flats, campsites, RV sites... More

We stayed here this weekend for one night. Although I realize this is a holiday park and I wasnt expecting much I was still disappointed. The room was really cold and it stunk. The sheets and bedding all smelled musty and mildewy (if that's a word) and we're really not a fussy family. There wasn't a lot of space at... More

We spent 4 nights here with our 3 children and were very disapointed, it was the worst holiday park we have visited in NZ and now reading the other reviews I wish I had read them first! The owner was unfriendly and unhelpful in fact pretty unpleasant. There were no facilities for children at all. There is a neighbouring park... More
