We were a party of 4 and used this hotel leisure purposes. It is a modern and comfortable hotel. The mid-week rate of £49 per person sharing is good value. Breakfast is excellent and the bar food is excellent as well. The rooms are clean and spacious and have all you need including tea/coffee availability and a safe. The best... more

Just back from a weekend break in the Canal Court with the girls. We are regular visitors to Newry & usually stay elsewhere but decided to treat ourselves. We got a great rate so that was a big bonus. On entering the hotel the first thing we noticed was the very impressive foyer/reception area, and then to be greeted by friendly staff was... more

We stayed in the Canal court for one night as we were on a shopping trip to Newry. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I cannot wait to return. I found it warm, cosy, comfortable and very relaxing. The staff are extreemly professional, friendly and efficient.....We we wondering if they would come down to the south and... more

The canal court hotel is quite central in Newry and was full of families from the south who were there to shop for the weekend. The hotel itself is spacious and impressive and, once you get used to the unusual layout of the corridors (not easily negotiated after a night in the bar!!), you are assured of an enjoyable stay.... more

Stayed in this hotel as it was convenient to Warrenpoint. It is a clean, busy but functional hotel. Reception staff are efficient . The hotel has a car park but I couldn't find a space. so had to park on street. Full Ulster breakfast was first rate. more

I stayed here and was somewhat amused at the dated decor with plenty of brass, teak, patterned carpets and hideous halloween decorations plastered everywhere (Who wants a laughing witch looking at you at breakfast!?) This is definately a hotel designed for easy money (i.e. weddings and conferences) and I didn't feel £135 for a double room was value when the... more

We were on a shopping trip to Northern Ireland and we picked Newry for the location. The hotel was very central. We booked a family room. It had one queen bed and two singles. The room was very spacious and clean. The reception was very elegant and our check in and out was speedy. The bar is soulless and the... more
