Wonderful place to stay, warm welcome with great hosts, bedroom very comfortable and the breakfast was better than we could have hoped for. Mel is a mind of information, we would certainly stay again if we were in the Skipton area. More

I was delighted to stay at this wonderfully comfortable B&B. Mel and Christine were very welcoming the accommodation was immaculate and I slept very well. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was piping hot and tasty. I would recommend Dalesgate Lodge to anyone and will certainly return the next time I visit Skipton. More

Dalesgate Lodge became our 'home away from home' for a week. One is never sure when they book accommodations if things will work out okay, but this far exceeded our expectations. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and great choices for breakfast. It was a perfect location for walking to town centre; plus when driving, easy to get to any... More

This B&B was a gem. It was really clean and the rooms were bright and airy. Mel and Christine were fabulous. They made us feel very welcome and were so helpful providing local info. My husband and I stayed for one week with my 85 year old mother. Her comment was "This must be heaven." The room was made up... More

Mel and Christine made me feel very welcome, without ever being too intrusive. On arrival, I was given some good advice of pubsin Skipton to eat (the Woolly Sheep comes recommended). Breakfasts were plentiful, the room was very clean and the bed very comfy! I was also impressed by the location of the B&B; a short walk downhill into the... More

We decided to book for 2 nights but we wish we could have stayed here longer. As we had a very warm welcome from the owners Mel & Christine, the breakfasts were superb and our room was very comfortable. The hotel is very convenient, just a short walk into the town and within easy reach of Settle, Malham and Dales... More

We wanted a weekend break at Skipton and were struggling to find somewhere suitable to stay close to the centre. It's years since we stayed in a B&B but what a surprise this was! The owners Mel and Christine made us feel more than welcome. Our room (at the back) was very quiet and peaceful and beautifully clean. The towels... More

Clean & tidy accommodation. Mel [owner] most helpful and welcoming without being intrusive. No issues with car parking. Ideal location with 5-10 minutes stroll into centre of Skipton. As other reviews breakfast is excellent. No problem in recommending this accommodation. More
