Stayed as a family of four in one of their family rooms for 4 nights whilst visiting relatives in Ilkley. Room was clean but basic, needs updating. Bathroom clean but again needs updating. It looked as if there had been a heated towel rail but that had been taken out. Showhead was so low you had to be under 5'... more

I know with Travelodge you get what you pay for but this one was somewhat disappointing. What I do expect is a well maintained clean room. The room was dated and water ran freely from the bath taps when on. Clean it was not also. Most of the room was ok but the bath was dirty with shavings and hair.... more

I found this Travel Lodge to be above standard of other Travel Lodges that I have stayed in before. I stayed for 3 nights, during this time all the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The room I was given was Spacious and bright, as well as very clean. Although I had a room facing the road, the only... more

I'm usually a fan of this type of cheap and cheerful hotel, they are not usually places I would stay for any length of time, but they serve a purpose and usually do it well. Except this time. I was travelling with my boyfriend and we decided to break the long drive by staying overnight in Skipton. We chose the... more

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel. The rooms were big and had a sofa, reasonable bed and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was fine if slightly old. We didn't find any problems with parking. The only issue I had was on the Travelodge website it says in one place that it is 1.2 miles to Skipton,... more

Spent 2 nights here. Very close to town and the Dales. Pre-booked for 26 pounds a night. Travelodge's have some of the largest rooms for the money in the UK! Don't eat at the Chef diner but go into town for a nice cheep dinner at Witherspoons! We will stay again! more

We booked this room at short notice and paid £26 for the room. We have stayed in a few Travel Lodges for £15 or £26 per night and have found them all to be very acceptable. The only criticism is the shower head being quite low and unadjustable. The fact that this one is close to the trunk road doesn't... more

I stayed at this accommodation for four nights on a short leisure break. The following is my opinion. The hotel appeared to be clean and well kept. The ground-floor room I was allocated was clean, relatively large and cheerfully decorated. It was en-suite with a bath and a shower. It took me a while to work out how to use... more

Stayed one night in this travelodge. OK so it's cheap but that shouldn't mean substandard! Travelodge has the tag line "Welcome to the hotel revolution" so with this kind of trumpeting they should be ashamed to rent out rooms such as the one we had. The room faced the motorway .. with no soudproofing! The sheets smelled musty and they... more
