Having had fond memories of this pub over many years, our short stay was extremely disappointing. The room was of a reasonable size but felt tired, was dusty and the en suite had a strong musty smell. The food was basic and certainly overpriced for pub grub. Malhan is such a lovely place and with a refurbishment of the pub it would be much nicer. The landlord however, appear to be incapable of running a business, during our stay they had barely any staff and were very abusive towards them and grumpy all evening. We stayed for one night.
