We have just returned for a 3 day New Year Break at The Plough Inn. There were three couples and we all agreed that this was the best new Year's Eve we had ever spent. We arrived on Sunday 30th and we welcomed and taken to our rooms by very attentive staff. Dinner in the restaurant that night was excellent... more

Christmas breaks were advertised and details were sent for. These arrived... more

After struggling to get in anywhere else, we finally got in at the Plough (which should have started the alarm bells ringing then). During booking, I... more

It is very rarely that we have any negative comments and we have many guests who come back time & time again. Our rates...

If you are travelling from the South to Scotland, you could do far far worse than get off the beaten track and stay at The Plough Inn. This little village, more like a hamlet consists of a few houses, a post office which is also the village shop and garage. This inn was a gem of a discovery for us... more
