Just grabbed a one nighter to chill and relax. We chose the Tempest Arms on basis of reviews . We stayed in a club room at the impulse rate. Excellent value for money, though felt the room was a little dark on a a very sunny weekend. But it had everything needed and was easily a four star standard. Loved... more

I've stayed a number of times, both on business and leisure and I've never been dissapointed (well I have when it's fully booked and I'm sent elsewhere). The Club rooms are fine but the suites are much better. It's the little touches of Moulton Brown toiletries and chocs in the room that make it feel so great. Don't forget the... more

The Tempest Arms is a glorious country inn in the most delightful setting just inside the North Yorkshire border from Lancashire. We stayed in a club room in the main building and it really was wonderful — five-star accommodation for what might be charged for a two- or three-star establishment. The service was impeccable, especially at breakfast, where we received... more

Just returned from a one nite stay at the Tempest, what can I say it was just lovely. Everything about the place is perfect, the location, the rooms, the food, the people were all fantastic. It is in a perfect location to explore the area, we visited Grassington (can recomend the Devonshire Arms for food), Skipton and Harrogate. We ate... more

Very good value for money. I have stayed in some excellent 5 star hotels, but I must say that the Tempest Arms is a worthy competitor to them. The room was very comfortable and clean with Molton Brown toiletries!! The food was absolutely fantastic, both dinner and breakfast. Service was faultless. To top it all the price was amazing, really... more

I got married at the Tempest Arms on the 24th May 2008. It was the best day of my life and I am so glad we chose the Tempest Arms. The planning of the wedding was made hassle free by Veronica and everything was done without fuss or question. We had guests come from all corners of the country and... more

We have just returned from a three day stay here, September 2008. We stayed in the delightful Room 11, the "Honeymoon Hot Tub Suite". It was gorgeous. The room was elegant, luxurious, well appointed, practical and comfortable to use. The hot tub is a real treat and though this is the most expensive roonm here, the value for money is... more

We could only manage one night at the Tempest as a bit of respite during my wife's cancer treatment. We wanted somewhere just to get away, and also convenient for Skipton and the various mill shops in the area. The Tempest, from start to finish fulfilled all our needs. Reception staff were most helpful during booking. We had a well... more

We stayed for one night only but would have stayed for longer had we not booked elsewhere. We were given one of their larger rooms which easily slept two children and two adults. The room was spacious, with tasteful furnishings and interior design (particularly the colour palette) and a really clean, modern bathroom. Great facilities and a fantastic assortment of... more
