Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another brilliant week at Caeiago, the horses may change but they remain steady, sure footed and forward going. What does not change are the impossibly high standards that Lesley maintains in respect of food, cleanliness and desire to make your stay as good as it can be. Quite right and proper BHS awarded a highly commended/commended approval rating in 2019, so well deserved for all the hard work that goes in to making your stay so happy and memorable.

Having been unable to visit Caeiago last year I couldn't wait to return and was not disappointed. It was my tenth year anniversary visit and it was just perfect. We had such fun and great rides out even when it was showery for two days. Everyone at Caeiago works hard to make sure that both guests and horses are well looked after and relaxed. It's just a wonderful place to go.

I booked a two day riding holiday here after reading the reviews which were all excellent. Last week I had such a wonderful time I am now adding my own excellent review. All the staff are so friendly and helpful - Lesley really took her time to find out about my riding experience and chose a lovely horse for me. If she wasn’t matching suitable horses to riders she was preparing homemade dinners or cakes or cleaning the rooms - nothing was too much trouble. I have never seen such a clean yard with all of the horses looking so healthy - Katherine was great building my confidence in grooming which was something I had not done before. Steph accompanied each ride and was a great guide with a fantastic sense of humour. As for Charlie- I aspire to still be riding when I am his age! As for the riding - amazing! I will definitely be booking again. 😁

You will not be disappointed riding in this stunning location. Lesley has great horses here all in wonderful condition. You can help with the brushing and getting the horses ready before going out into the wonderful countryside. With forest tracks and trails across the hill tops there are even views across to the sea. After breakfast you get your self ready for a day in the saddle taking your packed up with you. Then back in time for tea and cake and a relaxing soak in hot bath or brush your horse off. Then relax till dinner or take the dogs for a walk. Don't expect to loose wait, the food is wholesome and delicious and all dietary requirements are catered for. Everything from day rides to 2-3 days to weeks and possibly longer...… Enjoy, I certainly did.

We have visited Cae Iago a couple of times now for day rides as we are only an hour and a half away so don't need to stay overnight. they have some great tracks to explore and whichever ride you go on has either great sweeping views or fantastic countryside, lakes and woods. The horses are really well looked after and the team there have all the bases covered. Charlie is well written about on here and online, but the rest of the team deserve plenty of recognition too. We rode out with Charlie and Lucy, and Lucy manages to balance friendly chat and enthusiasm with eyes in the back of her head for keeping you safe and looked after, If you are considering riding in some really peaceful countryside Cae Iago is well worth a visit.

This was our first time on a riding holiday and defiantly not our last. I have my own horse while my sister has only been riding for 9 months. We had the most incredible time! The horses were matched to our ability and were absolutely fantastic (I would have brought Pam home if I could have!!) The scenery at every turn was spectacular with 360-degree views of Wales from the top of a mountain to Red Kites flying above and deer running in the fields as we rode by. Lesley, Roddy and Charlie were wonderful hosts who really made us both feel at home. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the home cooked food was excellent and plentiful. Outside the yard and stable block were immaculate and the horses well cared for. The 3 days riding exceeded our expectations which was due to the wonderful hosts, superb horses and the homely feel of Caeiago. Fully recommended

Quite simply the best most relaxed riding holiday you could imagine.Lesley , Roddy and Charlie go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and genuinely treat you like one of the family. There are a variety of horses to suit all types of riders from the not so confident to the totally competent, all responsive and forward going .You do need to be able to ride as you are in the saddle for 4 to 5 hours a day with good off road riding . The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and Lesley,s home cooked dinners are definitely something to look forward to after working up and appetite . I can honestly say that my 4 days at Caeiago has re-ignighted my passion for horses and I can't wait to return in October.

This was my first riding holiday. I was a little nervous about going along by myself but as soon as I got out the car I was made to feel at home. The food was plentiful and absolutely scrumptious. The accomadation was comfy, clean and there was nothing more I could ask for. Each of the horses I rode were forward going and absolute gentlemen. The rides were ideallic. At all times I felt horse and rider safety was made a priority. Thank you for a beautiful and relaxing couple of days! Kate xx

Just returned from another amazing holiday with my Mum at this wonderful riding centre. As always, everything was absolutely perfect and we didn’t want to leave. A week just isn’t long enough!! The other guests were all lovely and we really hope to see all of them again. I can’t imagine there is a better riding holiday anywhere else. We’ll be back very soon!
