Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have just spent 3 nights in The Cinnamon House. It’s like home from home. Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Spotless. We had an 80th birthday party in the function room for 35 people. The owners were so obliging to anything we requested. Definitely check this place out for a delightful stay. The garden and play area for children are amazing.

We stayed with family in the Nutmeg cottage to visit family in Dungannon for vacation. The accommodations were very comfortable and spotless on arrival. The kids loved the play area and animals. The cottage was well equipped for traveling with a baby. The bedrooms are all spacious and the cottage has 3 full bathrooms as well. The location is quite central for taking day trips and sightseeing in the North. We would definitely return for another visit.

Just returned from another stay at the Spice Cottages while visiting family & Friends. These cottages really are a level above any self catering accommodation I have stayed in before. If you think you need to bring something....Olive and Perry have thought of it, from the welcome pack of essentials to the toastie maker . We stayed in Clove cottage for 9 nights, the cottage was spotless, and the kitchen/living is excellent, With Joseph Joseph chopping boards and Belleek Pottery mugs, nothing here feels cheap. The two bedrooms upstairs are spacious comfortable and have luxurious feel. The outside area is fantastic, with a BBQ on request, and each cottage has its own seating area. There is a large play area for kids, as well as a games room. Cant wait to stay again When visiting the area.

We stayed in Nutmeg Cottage for a family wedding and other members of the party occupied Clove Cottage. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and so well equipped - having 3 bathrooms for a family getting ready for a wedding was a must! The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and there are plentiful large, fluffy towels supplied. Every detail is taken care of from shower gel to bin bags and a welcome pack of essential groceries and treats is supplied on arrival. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a great base for visiting the area or touring further afield.

Having rented Clove and Nutmeg cottages to accomodate friends for a birthday celebration, I could not have been more delighted with them. They are decorated and furnished to a beautiful, high standard and are so cosy. There is everything you could need and the groceries provided on arrival are a lovely touch. A real gem, thank you Olive and Perry!

We had a lovely relaxing break in Clove Cottage. The cottage is set in a very picturesque restored courtyard with views of the owners beautiful thatched Grade2 listed home, just a delight. The facilities were excellent and the hosts friendly and welcoming.. The nearby village of Moy has a choice of places to eat where food is good and prices reasonable. Hope to visit again soon.

We stayed in Cinnamon cottage over the Christmas season and could not fault it. It even had a fully decorated Christmas tree which was so wonderful. Although situated just off a busy road, we were not bothered by any traffic noise. The attention to detail is obvious and everything was to hand in the kitchen and in the rest of the cottage. We would definitely stay again.

Having stayed in Spice Cottages in previous years I was quick to contact Olive & Perry for our current trip. This visit we were in Ginger Cottage, a more recent addition - WOW, the cottage is beautiful, our every need was anticipated. Breakfast goodies, biscuits for a cuppa. All beds have electric blankets, so comforting after a long cold drive. The lounge area is very comfortable , 2 en-suited rooms were huge. I voukd live in this cottage on a permanent basis. I visit family on a regular basis will always book Spice Cottages. Olive & Perry are the perfect hosts, available if you need assistance otherwise invisible. Thankyou for a wonderful stay, look forward to the next visit.

Stayed here for a week with family occupying all the cottages as we had a family wedding. Best cottages I’ve ever stayed in, great value for money and extremely friendly hosts. Would recommend to anyone going to visit this area. Thank you so much for all your kindness.
