We travelled to the Causeway Hotel & back from Bushmills on the little steam train known as the "Bushmills Railway" which was great fun (even though it was a little noisy & as warm as a greenhouse inside the old cabins!) May try to walk the scenic toepath next time which follows beside the railway track (if the weather is... more

we entered the hotel and went into the bar area for something to eat.As there were no menus on the table,i went up to the bar to enquire. There were 2 bar men and 3 waitresses standing at the bar,all of whom ignored me.Eventually, someone told me to go to reception to collect the menus(odd). We ordered our food and waited. While we waited... more

My husband and I had stayed at the Causeway Hotel 2 years ago for one night and had a very pleasant stay so decided to repeat the experience in July 09, returning this time for 2 nights. We booked the special deal of dinner bed and breakfast for the 2 nights. Unfortunately we found the Hotel had become very shabby,... more

We travelled to Northern Ireland to walk a section of the Giants causeway path. We chose the Causeway hotel as it was ideally located at the Giants Causeway. The hotel looks like it may have been rather grand at one time, but now it is a little tired and very much catering towards Giants causeway visitors and coach parties. For... more

We stayed here one night. Surprisingly for a hotel this size there was no online booking. We were helpfully informed that there was a dinner/dance on that night when we enquired but they promised to try and find us a quiet room. We got the room right at the end of a long extension (no. 28) and we couldn't have... more

After spending the entire day at the Giants Causeway, we began searching for a hotel. The first place we found was this hotel - not even 50 paces from the Causeway entrance and, for E40 a night, I can't say more... we were very pleased. more

Had enjoyed tea at the Causeway in Aug, and when there picked up on an offer they had for Oct/Nov - 2 nights B&B for £40 per person! What value. Had a really enjoyable stay. Yes the hotel is old and the rooms are dated - but it is homely, warm, serves great Guinness and great food (including breakfast). Service... more

I got married and had my reception in the Causeway Hotel in June, and it was truely the most amazing day of my life. From the very day we booked the venue Daryl and the staff made us fell very welcome and special. They went so far out of their way to make it the best day possible and accommodate... more

I think this is a smashing wee hotel! There were 8 of us staying in the hotel and we had 5 rooms - all of which were good. I had a nice view over the water, some only looked out over a grassy area. The hotel itself was fun! I enjoyed the fact that it was old and seemed to... more
