We stayed two nights at the Inn at a special rate, " £95.00 per person for two nights B&B plus one dinner voucher for one night. Based on two adults sharing." The Inn was good value for the money. The bedroom, as pictured by others, was 'scandinavian modern,' clean and comfortable, with great views of the countryside, particularly the neighboring... More

The Smugglers Inn is located one mile (a 15 minute walk) from the Giant's Causeway at the junction of two quiet roads. Rooms are much larger than most hotels with bath, shower, tea/coffee making facilities (and biscuits!), hair drier, extra pillows and comfortable beds. The hotel has clearly been refurbished recently and everything about it was clean, tidy and well... More

Staying in Portrush over the bank holiday weekend, we opted to eat out elsewhere, knowing how busy the restaurants in Portrush would be. We weren't dissappointed! We decided to eat in the Bar area rather than the more formal dining room. Many in our party chose the steak, I opted for the Scampi with tarter sauce which was divine! Really... More

I recently stayed in the Smugglers Inn ,I was a bit disappointed on the value for money. It was quite expensive for the weekend ,but it was my anniversary so I thought I will give it a try. On arriving at the reception to check in I was giving a voucher for an evening meal.I did not think to look... More

If you want to visit the Giants Causeway we think that this is by far the best place to stay in the area and worth spending two nights to do the Causeway and coastline justice. The dinner menu is just great - we recommend both the hake and the half duck. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms and... More

This is a brilliant base from which to explore the area - the hotel is spotless and the food is traditional and plentiful. Great cooked breakfast - not greasy - just right! The music in the Bar on Saturday night was really lovely - two guitars and great voices - this was a real treat. We had a fabulous time... More

My sister and I hired a car in Belfast and during a conversation with someone at the car hire office, the Smugglers Retreat was recommended to us. I'm so glad we took her advice. We had great banter with the staff and experienced more of the warm Irish welcome. The food was brilliant, the staff were brilliant and the outlook... More

We had 3 couples that stayed here for 1 night while visiting the north coast... The hotel room was very nice - but the highlight without a doubt was the dinner! This was THE BEST MEAL IN IRELAND! We couldn't have been more pleased with the food and were so stuffed we couldn't even consider dessert - which was so... More

My friend and I were doing a roadtrip through Ireland and happen to come across this place. It was a great place to stop. The food was amazing! We were thinking, ok this is going to be regular pub food, but it was very very good and reasonably priced. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. No wifi in... More

We visited the Smugglers Inn on Easter Tuesday. The place was busy as we would have expected, but we did get a table, by the window, with some of the chairs having a view of the sea, which was very nice. We did not have starters, and only ordered mains, we had no room left for dessert after we finished... More
