Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for a 2.night break. What a transformation. It’s beautiful. The decor is. Very tastefully done the seating areas have lovely comfy settees.. our room was big and had a good shower. And nice toiletries plenty of large towels we had a good view out to the sea. The dinner at night was fabulous well presented and plenty off it the restaurant is also very nice. We were made to feel welcome and would highly recommend GRAYs we will definitely be back , Louise the general manager. Was.really nice she took the time to speak to you nothing was a bother to her. She was very hands on and I think she is an asset to GRAYS very professional all the staff are exceptional. You know they enjoy there work always a smile. We were out and returned back we fancied a night cap And the barman was happy to serve us before his shift had ended. 5. Star to all the staff,

Booked in to the bistro for dinner. Faultless booking and a reminder text to confirm. Great service. Good food and portion size. First visit and it won’t be our last. The stunning night sky over Port Ballintrae helped set the evening. Staff were courteous, helpful re allergies, attentive without being intrusive.

We had lunch today in Grays restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The young man who was on reception as we arrived was polite and helpful. He took our order, showed us to our table and nothing was too much trouble to him. The decor was lovely and the Ladies washroom spotless. We will be back. Thank you Grays!

Absolutely out of this world!! What a lovely experience throughout! Me and my dad stayed here for one evening so that we could enjoy the Giant Causeway trail whilst staying in Belfast. Everything was a 5 star ⭐ The hotel is beautiful, clean, tidy and looks newly refurbished. Staff were so friendly, Louise, greeted us upon arrival, checked us in immediately making sure we had our 3 course meal booked in for the evening. Nothing was ever too much effort for the hotel staff, all so friendly and couldn't do more for us. The rooms are beautiful, very cosy, lovely shower/bath, pretty decor and had tea/coffee facilities. The beds were super comfy ! For food (which we had included in our package) was out of this world! We both had the Guinness braised Irish beef for main off the evening set menu, I had the soup of the day for starter and the desert sticky toffee pudding. Honestly the best meal I've had in such a long time, credit to the chef and the other cooks. Absolutely delicious! Would of quite happily paid double the price for the meal. The location within 10/15 minutes walk from the National Trust site where you begin the Giants Causeway walk. You can catch the bus which is literally a minute walk outside of the hotel itself and also goes to many other picturesque locations along the way. Really can't fault this hotel one bit... 10/10! If we go back to Belfast we will definitely return here. Very very happy customers. Thank you, you should all be very proud of your establishment. Louise was an amazing host credit to you.

We went for the Sunday lunch. Very good choices for starters and mains. The sides were excellent and included in the price. Overall the food and service was great and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend, we plan to visit again.

Comfortable room and lovely food. Very near to Giants Causeway. Staff were friendly but a little over stretched as it was the Christmas/New Year period but they still managed to look after the guests well.

Many thanks to everyone at Grays for a lovely Christmas lunch today. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished and the sea views from the brasserie are stunning. We all had the turkey dinner and it was excellent; portions were generous and everything very tasty. On hearing it was my Mum's birthday, the staff brought her dessert and sang happy birthday to her making her day. Highly recommend it - considering the quality of the surroundings and the standard of food, it was very good value!
