Reception staff very nice, two signitures and we had our room key in under 30 seconds. Bar staff great well manered and quick with orders. We were there as part of a wedding. Wedding room and food brilliant, food piping hot and precisely cooked with all staff well trained, quick and polite. Night bar staff also quick with orders and... more

The rooms were functional - nothing special. The service and food in the restaurant was absolutely terrible - they tried to pass a medium/well piece of round steak as a rare sirloin!! 1st drinks orders took 15mins to arrive - and were wrong - I could go on but you'd do well to just avoid. more

I was greeted here witha pleasant smile. Check in was easy and smooth. The room was a double and I must admit it was one of the biggest hotel rooms I have seen. The double bed was so big it could of slept 4 easy, plenty of storage, nicely decorated and the bathroom was also spacious and clean. The only... more

Stayed here for 1 night only, went to a wedding in another hotel but it was full so we had to stay here. Looks lovely from outside and reception and bar are nice. Room is a bit disappointing, a bit dated and cheaply done, eg. ceiling is made from panels like in an office, carpet worn, bedspread faded, bathroom suite... more

the templeton hotel is unique and the needs of most people. There are a number of conference rooms as well as the De'Courcy suite upstairs which is equiped to suit over 200 people for numerous functions and business meetings. The staff are all friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome and do everything they can to get you... more

I stayed here for a week while I was running a training course, so got to really experience the place - it was great! The food is outstanding in either the Grill Room (BIG portions of well cooked meat - don't expect too many veg :-) !) or the main restaurant (what you Americans woudl call fine dining, and it... more

As soon as i walked in with my husband and children i was greeted by a lovely receptionist. I was wanting to stay for a few nights and even though i had a rather unpleasant (noisy) family they acted as if they loved me. The receptionist, Alison i think told me of the different options availible. As she arranged some... more
