On our Coastal scenic drive we stopped in Cushendall (as pre planned) having spent the day travelling up from Belfast. The drive was fantastic and The Village B&B a welcome overnight option. We had 1 night here. The room was clean and spacious. As mentioned in the previous reviews the pub opposite is great, however it was very quiet when we were there, but still had a great craic with the locals (unfortunately no music though). Stayed here due to all the positive reviews. Was very disappointed with the breakfast - nothing fresh at all. No fresh fruit or anything vaguely healthy - cerals were all the sugar coated ones. Two friends (Dublin) and myself (Cape Town, South Africa) had a fantastic time in this great combination of the centrally located Village B&B, McCollom's Music pub (especially in the back room!) and Joe's place, a superb restaurant. We really enjoyed this B&B due to the location and the owner who turned out to be a real character.Loved the fact that there was a tv room that allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay.Good rooms and good breakfast.Right beside a quality pub and a very good restaurant. more
