Many thanks again to Richard and Arlene for looking after us all so well. We visit in August every year, and we have always been given a warm welcome. The Albany Lodge is like our second home! The rooms are all spectacular, with most having fantastic sea views. Everything is spotlessly clean and tidy, and the little extra touches make... more

Due to no parking at hotel, our car was vandalised on the street outside the hotel. This was disappointing as it was very costly to repair the damage to our car. more

A regretable & unfortunate incident but this matter is unconnected to the Guest House. 90% of accommodation parking in central Portrush is 'on street'. We hope you enjoyed the accommodation & service provided.

This was my second time at the Albany Lodge and it was a brilliant weekend. Firstly may i thank Richard for the warm welcome we got when we arrived, we were ment to arrive at 4pm but because our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather, this caused us problems because the last check in is 9 pm and we... more

I stayed here with my young son (then aged 18 months) for a long weekend. It is a lovely place to stay, right in the centre of Portrush and in a Victorian type (but modernle decorated) townhouse. The room we stayed in was comfortable and the little extras such as bottled water etc were appreciated. The owners were extremely helpful... more

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Albany Lodge. We were offered an upgraded room which had superb sea views, Richard and Arlene are very friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Richard's local knowledge was very useful. Good choice on the breakfast menu. We were pleased we went out of season as the on street restricted... more

Sadly, I cannot give a good review to Albany Lodge. I would like to. It has all the makings of a great place to stay, but is missing the most essential component in hospitality – a warm welcome by a caring staff. We stayed in a superior room whose tall, stately windows offered panoramic views of the sea, but the... more

Myself and a friend spent two nights at this wonderful little b & b. The owners were extremely friendly and curteous. Albany Lodge is so central its fantastic. It is right beside shops, bars and the beach. The rooms were so comfortable and bright and clean. If you are intending to take a visit to Portrush, I would highly reccommend... more

Just had to leave a review to express the fanastic level of service we received during our short break to Portrush to visit the Giant's Causeway. Stayed two night in the comfortable small hotel/guesthouse, our room had excellant facalities and great views of the ocean and dunes at Royal Portrush Golf club. But what made our stay so special was... more

Had a fantastic time in Portrush for our wedding anniversary. A friend had recommended this guesthouse and we were more than happy with our stay. Staff carried our bags and were very welcoming. The views overlooking the ocean definately give it the wow factor. Location is as central as you can get. Have already booked my room for the North... more

First the good: The room was gorgeous! We had an ocean view and it was one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in. The mediocre: The breakfast was decent, I've had many better Irish and English breakfasts and for the price, I expected a bit better. The bad: The staff. Wow. Horrible, awful, disrespectful, unwelcoming, I could go on... more

Although we're happy this guest was delighted with the room, we are somewhat surprised with the other comments - in fact we do not believe if someone was so unhappy with the inital telephone to make the booking, they would hardly go ahead and stay. Very strange. Sometimes guests don't always conduct themselves so well and can be a little...
