Stayed here last weekend in September with two friends. We booked a triple room. Arrived to check in at 12, told check in was two. The receptionist allowed us to check in, gave us a choice of smoking/non-smoking rooms and a sea view! The room was dark, but clean. New curtains and duvets. Large with smashing sea views. With a... I am basing this review on the 10 minutes I was on the premises. My wife and I were looking somewhere to have lunch and saw this establishment were offering a carvery for £7.95. On entering the reception area we noticed it was extremely dark and wondered if they had something to hide. Before going through to the dining area... More

Definitely the worst hotel we have EVER stayed at, Dirty, uncomfortable, smelly and most of all VERY VERY noisy. We didn't even get a breakfast after waiting for 30 mins. This hotel makes faulty towers look like a palace. Should be called the UGLINGTON. Soooooo disappointed. Wouldn't stay here again even if it was free

My friend and myself never got such a disappointment as when we entered the dreadful, smelly, foyer of this hotel. The receptionist didn't look too happy but brightened up a bit when she got the cash. When I asked why we had to pay before we saw the room she said it was their policy - not a bit of... More
