stayed in this hotel for the first time and hotel rooms are very good. on check in i observed the excellent looking restaurant so booked a table. This restaurant really needs Gordon ramsey to shake it up. the staff were good but to be honest the meal was probably the worst i have ever had (and iam not that hard... more

We had a great stay at the Adelphi. The staff was very pleasant and willing to provide information and help. The owner was friendly and very interested in operating a high quality B&B and restaurant. You can tell there is a great deal of attention to detail in all aspects. Breakfast was exceptional, typified by small things such as 6... more

As leader of a large group of adults with Learning Disibilities we had a great time at the Adelphi. Staff very helpful and let us have the spa to ourselves on the Saturday. Breakfast very good. Adelphi was that good we organised another weekend with another group of our members in May. more

My wife & I are just back from an 'overnighter' at the Adelphi. It had been recommended by a friend but we thought we would try for ourselves. To start with the mid week B&B rate was very keen. We were met at reception by a very chatty and pleasant receptionist who checked us in early - another plus. The... more

Sadly, being served a rubber snapper (fish) on the first night coloured my experience of this hotel - although to be fair I must say I was not charged for it. The (loft) family room was good, especially as we were only charged for a double, and the location was fine for exploring the northern coast including (of course) the... more

We stayed here the night before a family wedding. The rooms were fine, nothing amazing or different to any other room to give them any wow factor but that's fine, it was just somewhere to stay and get changed. Everyone was helpful and we had a lovely breakfast. The only issue was, the weather had changed and there were strong... more

We tried the phone book first - no luck - so many places have closed. We then searched and booked online. What a find - this place is fabulous. From check in to leaving nothing was too much trouble. Really good room - spotlessly clean - and quiet despite being in the centre of town. The spa was a welcome... more

On this week long holiday I brought my 89 year old mother (who uses a wheelchair due to ataxia and rheumatoid arthritis) on a tour of Donegal, Londonderry/Derry, and Antrim, an area of Ireland she had never visited. We flew from Dublin to the City of Derry Airport and rented a car. This was to be the last of the... more
