Right from check in to departure the York provided a wonderful stay. The room was large, clean and full of more comforts than I expected for the price paid and the sea views were an added bonus. The bar and restaurant were excellent with food to match. The only regret was we couldn't stay longer. More

My husband and I stayed here last night and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely style of the hotel. The staff on reception, bar and restaurant were all very helpful and pleasant. At breakfast we had a really lovely waitress who smiled a lot and was very pleasant. We ate in the restaurant next to... More

Stayed for one night with my wife (usually travelling solo on business) for a family event. Was allocated room 3 which is nice enough but the bed is far too soft and low for my liking. I had made the mistake of assuming that the 4* rating was given as hotel status and made certain assumptions as to what facilities... More

Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. All rooms and public spaces are modern, clean and spacious. Service and food could also not be faulted - you wont leave hungry! Has a great sea view from breakfast/coffee area and some of the rooms. More

We stayed at the York using a Red Letter voucher as the company I work for uses Red Letter as corporate gifts and incentives and admittedly the choice in NI is limited but the website photos of the hotel were a pleasant surprise. We have passed the York many times and the outside is no indictation of how beautiful it... More

Stayed here whilst attending a wedding in Portrush. My wife and I have stayed in some fantastic spa hotels over the years and the standard of the rooms the York has was as good as if not better! The food in the bar/restaurant was excellent. The room rate was great value for money. We usually spend a few days around... More

I loved this B&B. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. The ensuite was of a good size and very clean. The breakfast had a good selection and was cooked on request. There was a lovely wee bar where we enjoyed a drink after a long day sightseeing. The restaurant was a bit expensive and not really to... More
